Dollars for Doers

Does your employer offer a Dollars for Doers program?

Dollars for Doers is a corporate giving program that encourages employee volunteerism by providing financial donations to nonprofits based on the number of volunteer hours performed by employees. Typically, companies donate a certain amount per hour volunteered, which can range from $10 to $75. Companies also recognize board members with additional award contributions. These programs tend to have submission deadlines in the November/December timeframe.

If you work at a company with this type of program, remember to track your volunteer hours and/or monetary donations and check with your employer for specific guidelines on how to submit them for matching donations.

The Jefferson Band Booster Club is a non-profit organization made up of parents of students currently in band who are interested in giving their children the best band experience through logistical support of band performances, fundraising for band activities, and general support.
